have yall ever seen the light bars that go on the 3rd brake lights?i want one for my ranger but they dont make them for rangers. do any of yall know about a place that makes one or have any ideas about making one?

i know it looks cool as hell but im not sure if the F-150s and 93 rangers have the same size 3rd brake light and all

thats pretty cool looking... it would be nice to use the 2 reerish holes for bed lights, but for the price it might be better to get a headache rack

i dont know if that is the smartest places to bolt a light to. seems easy to break, looks like 60mph winds would do some damage. but who knows, neat idea though.

yea that price is a killer:buttkick: thats why i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make one
those holes in the rear look like the perfect place to put a couple of backup/bed lights too

Or you could mount the same spotlights as on the forward facing holes, but have their own switch, so you could switch them on for the guy who leaves his high beams on when he's following behind you! ha ha ha I hate those people :thefinger:

OMG GREAT IDEA
Get about 6 Halogen lights, and blare them at the guy behind you so he crashes and dies!!!
WHOOT

Sorry, I over reacted. But it could get someone hurt if they actually did it.

Funny idea though. :thefinger:

not to sure about your '93, however my third brake light is exactly the same as a late model F-150 except mine doesn't have the clear spots for the bed lights. my only suggestion would be go to a JY and check out the tb lights on the back of a 150 and see for yourself.

it is kind of a cool idea, but I'm not to sure how well it would hold up, need to see one for myself.

I have seen that thing in their catalog, I think that is asking a lot of those two little screws that hold the light on, especially if you manage to snag a tree or something.
yea your right and with my luck im sure i would:dunno:
plus it also wouldnt help with my drivin out in the woods and stuff all the time, just increases my chances lol

The Super Duty and the 93+ Ranger have identical 3rd brake lights

From EBAY Listing:
"Brand New L.E.D third brake light for 99-07 FORD F-250/350 SUPERDUTY (All Cabs) and 97-03 FORD RANGER. Made of quality, durable polycarbonate lens with integrated cargo light and installation takes minutes using existing factory plug. Direct replacement and no modification/cutting required. Great upgrade to enhance your trunk."

The wiring, and the design might be different through the years, but the size, shape, and bolt holes are all the same.
