33x12.50s on stock BII, mpgs and wear/tear.

should i swap in the 3.73 axles? ill just take out the old diff on the front and install the new, and on the rear ill put in the full axle since im going to put in new leafs anyways

you missed a part i already have 3.73 axles

But how good are 3.73 and 33's considering you have a 2.9.. I don't want that with a 4.0... Plus do you plan on off roading? 33's on a 7.5 is iffy... If you do anything much that's gonna stress that axle. It's your truck, your choice. I just wouldn't do 33's on a 7.5. I've broke an axle on my 7.5 with 30's

3.45's and 33"s with a 2.9?

You'll be slipping the clutch everywhere, and it'll completely gutless.

I run 3.55's and 4.0 with 33's and I dont have much problem dealing wiht the clutch, gearing wise my speedo is dead on according to the police scanners with this setup. Its a little slower gettin off the line, but in 4 lo I have absolutely zero issues, and on the road 4 hi or 2 hi it goes. The only thing I would worry about is the manual tranny being pushed by the 2.9 I cna see maybe some overheating issues. but unless he really beats on I dont see an Ozzie happening.:D

i might just swap in the 3.73s. its not much better but it will do until i can get some 4.56s. i might not even do the d35 swap i might just go to a d30 straight axle sometime. only shitty thing about that is i cant get a front locker unless i get an air one or something and that wont be happening. but like i said for now i will prob just swap in the 3.73 axles since i will be changing the leafs anyways.

yes. i dont need an 8.8 with just 33s

No, you don't NEED it, but you need more than a 7.5 if you plan on actually using the truck for more than getting groceries. you're borrowing trouble if you ask me. Save up and get a beefier diff. You'll be glad you did in the long run.
