so I am soon going to be getting a 6" BDS susp lift for my BII, and ill be taking the 33x12.50 m/ts off the FSB and putting on my BII. yes the BII still has a dana 28 until i can get my D35 geared, but she wont be seeing any real offroad use until the 35 is in. with the m/ts she will probably hardly ever need 4x4 anyways besides some situations in the winter or some light trails. she has a 3.45s but its a 5spd so i know she will be pretty gutless but it could be worse.
so i just want to know approx how long she will last with just mostly street use on the stock drivetrain?

for street use, i wouldnt worry at all. not sure exactly how low the 5spd first gear is, but worst case the only thing you really risk is burning up your (small 2.9) clutch.

im assuming the rear is open? because with a locker in the rear you might have a problem after enough miles....

don't spend money in the 7.5 and d28 tho.. duh! lol
get your axles ready, until then-- its not idea but be easy and it should work.

Best to ask B2GUY, he ran that exact setup for a long while before adding 35's. DOnt bother asking about mileage, you know the answer. lol

ive run b2's rangers etc alot with alot of different gearing and alot of different tires, it will be tolerable with the 33's anything more then that and....well itll be gutless, basically 4 high wont be used, 4 low is ur friend with 33's and stock gears

Basically, everything will explode.

:D

3.45's and 33"s with a 2.9?

You'll be slipping the clutch everywhere, and it'll completely gutless.

why not just not put the 33's on it till you get the axles built? sure it'll look goofy but... could save you some money

Should go boom.

I'd pickup a pair of better geared JY axles that you can sell or use for spares when you get your new gears set up.

Well I have some 3.73 diffs, maybe I'll swap them if its that big of a difference

how much longer till you can get the 8.8 and d35 ready?

7.5 will be staying anyways. d35 will be ready as soon as my next job starts which should of been this month but it may not be till the summer now.

You're not doing an 8.8 swap? You'd rather pay to put 4.56's in the 7.5??? I'm confused...
