Hi just curious if anyone out there with a 3.0L is running 33" tires with stock 4.10 gears? Ive been thinking about it but have been told otherwise.

4.10's with 33's is a better match than 31's with 3.73's, which is what im running.

its liveable, but i would plan on regearing in the future when you can afford it.

4.10's with 33's should be fine... I've seen several people running 3.73 with 33's and that was a stretch but still doable...

I ran 31"s with 3:73's and was totally disgusted. I went to 4:56's and then to 33's and it was sweet.
With the 31's and the 4:56 gears it was just a bit of overkill but real nice when I needed to pull something heavy....
It all depends on how slow you are able to put up with....

I have 285/75/16's which is about 33 on stock gears and it is fine I didn't lose gas mileage either.

You won't be using overdrive much I would imagine, but with 4.10s it should be okay.

I ran 31s on my Explorer which had 3.27 gears...it was fine, just more of a dog than before. I kept OD turned off when driving around town.
