I think there is a pretty good write up somewhere but reading just in the first message on that CLsays, over 30 passes at the strip. How many more is it good for, why is he selling it? Buying a used motor can be a real crap shoot if you can't check it out or know what looks good or not. Same goes for transmissions.

look for a 97+ eplorer 5.0 stock rebiuld with good intake will achieve those #s.

Bolt holes and dimensions are all the same, internally, the metal content has been changed over the years. The blocks to avoid are the 1980-84's. And the 85 roller blocks. All others are OK.
