3" Suspension and 3" Body Lift 2004 4x4 Edge

I'll take some when I put the spacers on. That way I don't have to take the wheels off so much.

Clean truck.. For a first vehicle (I'm assuming) that is a nice ride.. Luckily I got 1972 Ranchero at 17 that was my grandpa's and in clean condition.. Got my 01 Ranger for graduation and still currently riding in that -=)

Thanks very much. I have always liked the Rancheros.

Fx4wannabe01, who makes the poweraid spacer? And I have the Superchip which helped a lot, but I'll look into the underdrive pulleys. What brand do you have? Thanks. I'll try and get some pics soon, but I won't be home for a few days. Thanks again for all your input...

Airaid makes the Poweraid. It does nothing to improve anything...it just sounds cool. I just happened to have it on the truck combined with other mods that got me the my best mpg numbers.

I've yet to get my Xcal tuned for my truck...but will be running Rogue Performance tunes whenever I get off my butt.

UDP I've got is an ASP brand and on the mustang with the same engine, it made 16 additional hp. I've since sold that and never installed it on the truck.

I got my current truck at 17 thanks to 3 years of saving up and many other vehicles failing on me all the time. lol.

That sounds pretty much like my story... but ok, thanks for all the info. I'll look into some wheels also. I see how the backspacing would cause the tires the pull in or out accordingly.

16x8 w/ 4" should be fine if you wanna keep 16's. keep in mind, for the price of new 16" tires, you could have got new 15x8 alloys AND brand new tires.

Yeah that's true. It's too late now though haha. I sorta feel like 15's would look too small, but one inch shouldn't make that much difference.

That's NOT what she said! In all seriousness, tires are usually cheaper for 15's than they are for 16's.

'usually' isn't the word I'd use.... something more like 'always significantly' is much more fitting.

lol.

I've never understood why a larger rim calls for a more expensive tire...it's less rubber. :icon_confused:

If you're comparing the same tire with 1/2 inch difference. Like a 265/75R16 BFG All-Terrain is $177 each. 31x10.50x15 in BFG All-Terrain is $138. The only difference is load range.

Nice truck dude. Funny, I have the exact same toolbox on mine. It is definitely too small :-P I would like to get a bigger one (one of the slimline ones) when finances permit. What kind of suspension lift you got under there? How far are your torsions cranked? Mine are cranked about an inch-inch and a half, with body lift, also my wheels are 3/8s backspacing, makes em stick out a little. Problem is the mud terrains like to throw rocks :dunno:

I believe he has torsion keys...and I still want to see the beef!!!
