Hello,
I would pay $3,100 for this.

That is a nice, honest example, and I'd also also pay $3,100.00 for it.

It's an auction, though, with 6 days to go.

I'm curious what the final bid will be.

Staying tuned on this one.

Probably 7-8k. Maybe 9 if someones rabid enough.

About what I'm thinking.

It'll be interesting.

What I like about it:
1) It has the mighty 2.9 liter.
2) It's a last-year first gen. It's the most "classic" RBV body styling.
3) 5 speed manual. The shifter boot looks like it's the Mazda trans, too.
4) Manual T-case.
5) Factory radio (which indicates that the truck ain't been messed with too much).
6) Eddie Bauer package. The cool embroidered seats, even if they do need recovering. Fog lights, rear defroster.
7) The black plastic throttle cover is still there (again indicates lack of molestation). The belt's still on the compressor, even though the AC doesn't blow cold. At least the system is intact, so it's easier to repair.
8) A decent amount of the normal and expected repair work has been recently done.

It does have its downsides, but no deal-breakers in my book.

It's not far from me, but I need another truck about like I need another hole in my head.

Same boat. Might buy a lawn mower if mine dies, but no more projects until I get the three or four I have squared away. Ain't stopped that devil on my shoulder from trying to talk me into it.

Im still trying to pay off last years project, it cost more to build a chicken house than I expected. Throw in a medical bill that insurance didn’t cover and a unexpected well issue (a failed pressure tank, buried beside the well in the yard-idiots!) and im in a bit of a hole at the moment.

Auction is sitting on $3,770 with 1.5 days remaining 👀👀👀

Well turns out even $3770 must be a pretty good price. This popped on my FBMP feed today:

The black '88 sold for $8,600.
