2WD to 4WD

Hey, I have a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT, with a 3.0 L V6, and i was wondering if there was anyway to take it from 2WD to 4WD? If you could point me in the direction of any good articles, or have advice, please post. Thanks!

(i am a bit new at working on cars, but i definitely am willing to put effort into this)
