This is just something I did on paint, but its a 2wd ranger xl with roughly 6 inches of lift and 31" tires. ( the tires are gray just so you can see them better)
Just an idea for anybody out there who was wondering like me!

31' are small for a 6 inch lift, Bro.....got bigger.

+1 million...
Here is what it looked like on my truck before I got 35s..

100 % agreed....if only my 2.3 was "bigger-tire" friendly haha

i posted this at the end of the 2wd suspension pics, mostly just for a reference

my 3 inch lift looked like that with 31's. I think your pic is a little off :icon_hornsup:

a regear will make your 2.3 bigger tire friendly for sure.

Last time I checked the 2.3 you have should have about 143 hp and 154 ft. lbs. of torque. That is pretty damn close to the output of the 3.0. I think you have plenty of power to move a set of 33s. Not only that, I believe Nater has 35's on his stock old 2.3 which only puts out about 100 hp.

very interesting, a regear will always push the capabilities a little further too
thanks for the input!

yeah the truck would definately be sitting higher with 6 inches, even on a 2wd. And the 2.3l should definately push 33s without being too much of a dog.
