Heard about this fangled way to lift your vehicle 1 inch, using hocky pucks. 1 inch is actually what I want it lifted and no more. are hockey pucks the only way, if so is the drilll a hole in a nhl hockey puck and pound a bushing in the center the way to go. I can't find a 1 inch lift kit for my ranger. should stock mounts be replaced ??? is a big concern heard thats a biatch. Also with 1 inch lift should I worry about wirings harnesses near the transmission clutch slave cylinder line etc. what would need to be done with the bumpers? what are the main problems a 1inch would get me into manual shifter? asside from this would leveling the front end with coil spacers before a lift cause any problems. I want my front end susp. leveled out and then a 1 inch body lift.

Thanks helped out alot still not 100 % informed. I'm about at 85 percent. not sure where to buy just the blocks instead of buying a whole kit. i'm not going to use hockey pucks. might try cutting 1 inch pucks out of steel rod from speedy metals.com instead.
