2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty

well...10 would be nice for oilfield....but 8 worksish

i need at least 6 feet.

oil field....8

The 9’ beds in our service trucks sometime just isn’t quite enough… luckily, we have plenty of other options. Too bad they’re for official county use only.

for sure big work needs big stuff..

so far, i have loved all of the new rangers i have driven. and the broncos... i have no long term use so its not a 100. but .. your truck with the things you added and roberts and jims are just way better then stock....and considering stock to me is awesome its not a hard sell.

the seats in the gm have the edge but the drive and feel of the ranger is just home....the new taco is better than the older ones...but i just dont like it.

the ranger compared to the 6.5 bed powerboost is lacking...but for a daily cruiser... i would rather have the ranger.. for a commuter i would do a 2 dr maverick with a 6 foot bed...easy.

but my bikes and tools wont fit in a 5 foot bed....i barely got away with my 6 foot bed.

so....if i buy a new ranger....it gets cut in half and will get longer so its useful to me.

the stock axle i already know is at the margins based on past experience with the 8.8 and while the modern version is stronger, its just not enough...i will have to go bigger.

time will tell.

My 5’ bed Ranger has been used to haul everything I needed to rebuild almost 2000 sq ft of my new house. If you need an 8’ bed to accomplish your goals, you’re not looking for a truck, you’re looking for an excuse.
Mine has hauled tons bit I admit I have a 5x10 trailer that does most the work these days.

yeah.... i dont like trailers. but have to pull them more then i would like.

i am just amazed how underpowered the ranger can be considered today compared to the rest.

gm quit offereing low range t cases in base models. hopefully ford does not follow.

the bison was bad ass for sure though. and the hybrid toyota i may be able to get a ride/drive when i go home this week. with no 4-7 k ac power though it seems a joke to me.

Yeah, the 5' bed is a pretty tough pill to swallow.

A 6.5' bed AND a trailer can move a lot of stuff...

So few people use pickups for actual truck stuff now, that you cannot even get an 8' bed anywhere but on a regular cab. Even the supercab is only available w/ the 6.5' bed.

And I am afraid by the time I am due for an update in 5-10 years the Supercab F-150 will have gone the way of the Supercab Ranger...

Not that I would really want the cab of a Supercab Ranger but I could get the 6.5' bed on a '150 without the huge cab that I will be winding down on needing by then.

You can still get a 6.5' bed on both regular cab and supercab F-150, but the regular cab short beds are hard to find.

For now...
