Well, I pulled in the driveway about 9:45, almost exactly 12 hours from when I left. I think it’s 10 hours of driving and then the other couple of hours are peeing (me and Lincoln), getting hundreds of dollars in gas, and putting some “nourishment” in our faces.
A long drive, and it may just be me (I can be a little different on some stuff), but it’s more tolerable, actually enjoyable in my big toy, when it doesn’t blow up two or three times on the round-trip! I’ll write up the Road Ranger report tomorrow.
It was great. Thanks again to @JohnnyO for putting it together and getting us a tent again! I don’t know how we’d survive or enjoy anything without it Like I said when we were together, everybody always has great ideas that the guy putting it together could do for them, usually a thankless job. But having said that, we really need to work on getting a better location. I’ve gotten to know that guy Ed, who is one of the guys who runs the fairgrounds a little bit, let’s chat about it and see what we could work out for next time.
I thought, as there are zillions of rangers and guys at gals who play with them, far more than a lot of the other vehicles that are shown. Maybe we could use that angle to get all the trucks into a better location. Just a thought.
