2022 F-150 XL 4x4 3.3 - new work truck


Yeah, Fords ain't bad.

GM especially LE stuff... gets messy.
 
the cyclone n/a engine 3.3 3.5 and 3.7 are extraordinarily under rated and under appreciated. as you have noted, even the smallest duratech 33 does really well. they are to me the modern 302 windsor.

I was driving a 2022 F150 until a few days ago. Nice truck, seats were awesome, and the new 5.0l is extremely impressive.

The 10 speed trans that it came with made me car sick a few times while I was driving.

That was the end of the F150.
 
That’s changed in the past 15 years. It used to be that Ford never built the same part twice, they’ve learned better.
About time. 80s/90s stuff can be a nightmare
