Well. Hard shift out of first has come to my 2020 at 95k miles. Changed the DPFE sensor. That got rid of the hesitation between shift but the hard slam into second or third still exists. I'm changing the fluid and filter today. I've read that low fluid levels can cause it. Im hoping this fixes the issue. If not there is a local shop that @Tbow2025 has told me about that rebuilds it with an upgraded CDF drum and other parts for half the cost of Ford. Fingers crossed it fixes it. I'm not getting the hard shift in any other gears. It's super hot and humid here so cold has nothing to do with it. I've tried letting it warm up. Jump straight in and take off. I can make it do it consistently and not real way to reproduce it except when it wants to. May shift fine first few times the slam into second or third the next. I will give updates as the saga continues haha
