2021 Bronco = Spring board to the 2023 Ranger

IDK. I like seeing the upfitter switches in it. I've mentioned them to Ford and why we need them pretty much every time I've talked to them. I'm hoping they'll find their way in a Ranger.

I read somewhere about the Bronco and it's list of 150 add on accessories. Ford has made some changes to suppliers/distribution networks to insure all these things would be more readily available at launch. It also said that they learned an important lesson with the 2019 Ranger.

I'm going to be really surprised if you can't drive off the showroom floor in a fully equipped off roader/overlander in 2023.

I forgot to say... this is probably all possible due to people such as yourself in their ear telling them what you would like to see offered from the factory.

Thank you Jim!

The real money is in selling accessories... doesn’t matter if it’s a truck, a SxS, or even a Honda. Dealers have already figured that out. Any dealer you go to around here has at least 1-2 trucks out front that are lifted, aftermarket bumper, etc... and they sell. They even come with a factory warranty!

You didn't mention the four letter word that rhymes with Heap...

Those folks are making bank on accessories...

I try to never mention Heep.

I'm not going to post the 10 page patent for removable doors... but you can see it HERE.

It was filed just recently and figures 3, 4 and 5 show a frameless window door. On the camo'd vehicles that have been seen.. the doors appear have no window frames. So I have to ask... how damn cool is that? Tube doors left behind with a removable "door".

Yes... they also did a patent awhile back for a door storage system for the rear of your Bronco to take your doors with you... or take them off when you get there.

I really don't know if these will happen... but what it tells me is Ford has put some serious thought into this program.

It looks like the door just snaps in. It will be interesting to see them in real life and what the execution and security is like. If it they do it.

The color pallet...

I found this and thought it was cool....

I'm waiting for the launch edition in bright blue for only twice the price.

Such a deal. ?

I think this color pallet is short... I expected at least a couple more bright bold colors. Makes me wonder what will they do about top color. A bunch of folks want a white top... hard or soft. It will be interesting to see the build guide and see just how much you can customize the thing. Lets not forget they have over 150 accessories that will be available at launch. I'm just doubting my checkbook can cover the cost of one the way I would build it.
