2011 Super Duty

Dodge is the only full size that still has a manual tranny. I like the front end a little better than the previous down syndrom look they had before but now i think it looks more like this:

That is a half ton, the HD 2500/3500 looks a lot worse IMO, especially in person.

Yea i've seen 'em in person I agree the chevy looks horrible but the ford with the double head lights the same hight as the grill startin to look like'em

Honestly though.....How big of a friggin grille do you need?

Looks like a kid with buck teeth.

Well, when you have 4" bars you have to make it pretty big to get any kind of air to go thru it. :icon_thumby:

So far they have only released the King Ranch, hopefully the trucks for mere mortals will have a better looking grille, if not there will surely be option on Ebay...

E-locker seems pretty handy for those annoying offroad situations. Seems to be a pretty good full size. Wtg on the styling Ford.. :icon_rofl:

Warning: The following is just the tip of one mans rant, mainly the demasculinization of the American male. And therefore should not be taken too seriously.

They need a truck built by real men, for real men (and women). That actually use a truck for its intended usage, than the run of the mill "Sky High Pavement Princesses" that I see day in and day out. Give me a few dings and some newly acquired scratches from the last firewood haul. None of this plush interior, car like riding suspension, and more square miles of chrome (mostly grill) than the state of Texas. A real truck should ride somewhat stiff, have one or more bench seats, a towing package, a manual shift t'case, and a manual trans... stock. Auto trans, carpet, leather, a/c, cruise and all other luxuries optional. Indash dvd/gps/backup camera should be more like... "Oh you want a Benz or BMW. That dealer is across town". They need to stop letting guys that drive a Prius and live in there mothers basements design trucks. Who needs a care like ride in their dang truck? If your wife/significant other doesn't like to drive it... then fine, thats why she has mini van... and you have a truck. Its been a long time since I have seen a soccer mom driving truck, and even then its only been seen with these eyes once. We need to take the big 3 out back and :buttkick:

Again just my opinion. Just like you are entitled to yours. They just don't make them like they used to. :sorrysign: a little :offtopic:

Ok let the bashing begin.... Be gentle.

P.S. Did I mention that I dislike the new design?:icon_confused:

Who says a truck HAS to ride like crap? Why is having a car-like ride bad??? As long as I don't have to sacrifice performance or hauling capacity, I'd much prefer the comfy ride.

Keep in mind fellers this is the King Ranch, so a base model SD wont have all the awesome extras that you hate.
Plus If you read the article it's all about the new tranny and engine.
It will also have, of course, best in class towing and payload.
And PTO!!!!
Live Drive PTO
Power takeoff isn’t new to heavy-duty pickups, particularly chassis cabs like the Dodge Ram 3500 and its Aisin six-speed transmission. PTO enables running auxiliary equipment directly off the truck’s engine via either a splined driveshaft or the transmission.

Ford’s new Live Drive PTO taps the Super Duty's crankshaft through the 6R140, so you can power hardware like a snowplow, cement mixer or a generator on the go in stop/start conditions. Until now, if you were using PTO to power a peripheral while moving and came to a complete stop, PTO would shutoff when the transmission's torque converter disconnected at idle. LiveDrive provides power at all times because power comes directly off the motor, regardless of whether or not the torque converter is locked up.

Parasitic power will be limited while the truck is on the go. The Live Drive PTO will be rated at 150 lbs.-ft. of torque while the truck is moving and 250 lbs.-ft. of torque when it’s parked.
