sup guys so I just got my heads back from the machine shop and am ready to put them back on I cleaned all my surfaces the put the heads on and new bolts all torqued down in sequence now im having trouble reinstalling the rocker arms and pushrods ...do I need to turn the engine in a certain position or do I need to just put them back on with the lifters all in different position any help is really appreciated bros

I haven't had a 3.0 apart to know exactly, but if it has pushrods I usually tighten the rocker arms until I can just barely spin the pushrods with my fingers, then rotate the engine and keep checking them- when the engine is rotated some will tighten up as the cam puts pressure on the rods, and others will loosen- the loose ones you want to tighten until you can just barely spin them by fingers. Then crank the engine and if you have any tapping adjust them with it running. I usually never have any tap if adjusted as above.
