2004 ranger with 2000 explorer tachometer issue

I just put in the v8 in the ranger and got it running, only issue is the tachometer is off bad, in the guide i read it said unpin the wire and pin it somewhere else however idk where to pin it (not changing the cluster) or is there another way to get it to read v8 tach instead of v6 tach

So apparently I can only figure out how to bump the video ahead in the cue, so if you want I can get it to drop later in the week or something. I’m sure there’s probably another way to do it, but anytime I try to copy the link to share it just tells me it’s not shareable until it’s released. I’m only so skilled with this stuff anymore, lol. Anyway, I can bump it up if you want and here is the information I reference in the video for this… (EVTM pics are from my 2000, ideally you should check the EVTM for your year)

Oh, for some reason I was thinking the different cluster was 05 and later…

i fixed it with the dakota digital bt100 for the speedometer and the tach, ty for the help
