2003 4.0l chirp noise video

one of your bearings mabey? dont hold me to that cause that is a complete guess but when the bearings went out on my bmx bike it would make that noise and all kinds of other noises as it got worse. i mean if it can happen to a bearing in in a wheel of a bike why cant it happen in a bearing in a motor?

sounds like vacum leak. thats why it keeps going for a bit after the trucks off. pop the hood and try to find what hose it is

It seems to be coming mostly from the rear of the motor and front of the transmission. Is there any kind of diagram of vacuum lines so i know what is what?

Do that while watching the fan... see if the fan clutch is the villian..
Big JIm

Brake booster check valve not sealing? Brake booster will still have vacuum after the engine is off and can suck air back through a defective check valve. Remove and plug the vacuum hose to the brake booster. Check again for noise.

I checked the brake booster check valve and that is definitely not the culprit. I am not sure what else to check. Are there any vacuum lines on the transmission or rear of motor?

Take the belt off and run it for a few seconds...just long enough to verify if it is there or not.

just removed the belt and the noise is still there. Thanks for all the suggestions!

its for sure a vacuum leak. does it go away if you stand on the throttle while driving?? if it does i would look for a leak on the discharge side of the plenum. if its still loud when your on the throttle, check the intake side of the plenum for any bad vacuum lines

About the only thing over there is the vacuum reservoir.
Should be under the airbox, bolted to the fender liner. Check its connections.

Should be a black plastic sphere. Examine it for cracks too.
