If your old engine had egr, and the new one doesn't, you'll probably get a check engine light at some point. You can clear it out of the system completely with an sct x-cal tuner.
I'd use the flexfuel rails and injectors, especially if you ever want to run e-85. They also have a higher flow rating than standard fuel injectors, which can help avoid detonation if you're planning other breathing mods.
I mean EGR vacuum line. Should I just plug it? also the 2000 is flex fuel also so I was going to take the 2000 fuel rail only because the plugs are different on the 2002. How about the coil pack I just bought a new one for the 2000 motor, I was wondering if I can use it on the 2002 engine or just use the one on the 2002 motor?? Can you recommend anything I should replace while the bay is empty? motor mounts? brake lines?
Thanks
