My 2001 2.5l shit out... I bought the truck for $750 but the previous owner did not take care of the truck and it started knocking in the bottom end. Engine currently has 100k on it.
I've searched for a while and haven't found someone doing this yet in detail. I'm just wondering if this is possible without too much trouble. What things will I need to swap over from the 2.3l? I know a guy that has a 2.3l from a 93-95.. he's not sure which yet.. and he wants $200 for the whole engine and whatever I would need. It does have 190k on the engine, but he said it ran really well before being parked.
