Just did upper and lower ball joints on my 2000 ford ranger XLT 2wd. Mistakenly ordered a 4wd torsion bar front end kit from Rock Auto. After installing the upper control arms, it became apparent the spindle diameters are different sizes, I reinstalled the correct 2wd coil spring upper control arms. For the lowers, I didn't even think that they might be different till everything was all together. Are the lowers on the 4wd torsion actually different than the 2wd, anyone know? They seems to fit tight and fine, just a little bit bigger of a ball joint, have been driving around the last few days on them. Installed lower ball joints are MEVOTECH MK8695T.
