Is there any differences between a 2000 m50dr1 and a 92 m50dr1.
I found a m50dr1 on clist and the guy claims it's from a 2000 expo. I'm mainly looking to see if it will fit in my 92 ranger.
Thanks

What is the 1992 engine? 2wd? 4wd?

4.0l 4wd and the donor is 4wd

Well went ahead and pulled the trigger. It only has 70000 miles on it and looks to be in great shape for $150. So now I'll order some new parts for it and slap her in.

Funny how your question didn't get answered, I have one from a 98 that will go in my 93 my research and input from when I asked here is yes but the -T-case would not have the speedo connection from the newer

I appreciate the reply. From I what I gathered it will swap in. I'm using my manual transfer case since the transmission I got has the bosses for the linkage. My only concern now is wich slave cylinder to buy the 92 or 2000

You'll need the '92 slave if you're hooking it to the line from your '92 master.

thanks I was wondering which slave to buy. you just saved me some time and hassle. ill post updates whenever the snow decides to stop here.
