I have a 2000 ford ranger xlt. I have been looking for days to find out what transmission I have. all I know is that where it says tr on the sticker it has a t under that and then under that it has utc. I have called the ford place here and they cant seem to help. all I want to do is change the filter and fluids. I can't find any other info on or around the transmission. I have even looked on the bell housing. it is a automatic with elect overdive on the shift lever, its a 3.0 flex. 18 bolts holding the pan on. it has to be eather a 4r44e or a 5r55e. that all the info I have on it. can someone help me here.
