2000 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0 v6 starting issue

I'm not so sure it's ambition as much as desperation :geek:

Update 2
Took me a whopping 5 hours to replace the core and put the dash back with some voodoo ford gods worshipping.

My brain deleted the memory of where several screws went, gotta recheck under the steering wheel later today.

She fired right up, no hesitation, fans ripping, got real hot after about 10min of running, but I assume that's because of hot air instead of coolant. I did fill it, I'm not sure why it got kinda hot but after I let it cool off, I started it again and it stays steady at little lower than midway temp.

Drove her down the road a few minutes, cool as a cucumber. With the exception of a exhaust leak. But that's for later down the road.
