I work at an auto parts delivery store, and our 2000 F-150 just hit 900,000 km!

4.6 has never been rebuilt, it's ran on CNG from the factory.

When my brother changed the pan gasket on his '97 when he regeared he marveled how the bores on his 4.6 still had the crosshatch with 150k miles. It just runs on normal gasoline though.

Then he proceeded to put new rocker panels, cab corners and a newer southern box on it so the truck looked as good on the outside. :icon_rofl:

i wish i could say 900kilo on a cng was impressive....

but since its on a parts runner that we know gets its ass whooped, i will offer a sincere atta boy.:thefinger:

Theres no way thats a 4.2l....

he said 4.6.

a 4.2 would run easy like that on cng as well unless they never changed the oil.

hard to wear and engine out on cng or propane.

a 300 six would probably never die ever with good oil changes on cng.

I just seen where it said 4.6.

A 300 wouldnt wear out if you used handsoap for oil and ran it on pond scum
