Truck: 2005 Ford Ranger XL 2WD
Lift: Spring Tech 2" Coil Space & 2" Shackle (copy belltech 6400)
Cost: $65 Shipped Ebay, Install: $150 Local Shop

After adding the costs of new tires and lift parts I decided to keep it cheap instead of the more expensive yet better option, spindles. Wanted just enough to tuck 31's. The back shackles were set on the 1" lift to even out with the front instead of 2". Will have my BFG's AT KO's installed tonight. Priced them at local Sams @ 161 per, Pepboys matched their price and beat them 5%. $152 tire. 31x10.5x15". Alignment looks good. Ride is good. More pics tomorrow with tires installed. Also since pic was taken, front bumper painted with Krylon Satin black, correct center caps installed, plastic bed liner, and tool box. Cost $85.

That should look great with 31s. The stance looks about right in the after picture. Have you checked your pinion angle after the shackle lift? I am still mid way on my own shackle lift and have not gotten around to checking for a change in pinion angle just yet.

I haven't looked yet. The fella that installed the kit for me told me it would be a good idea to add longer shocks for a better ride. Going off road last night made it apparent it would make for a more comfortable ride for sure. That will come later on in the year.

Added tires pic. Another plus of Pepboys match plus 5% is they offer free rotation with tire purchase every 5k. Defiantly satisfied with the tire installer/provider. Only time will tell if these spacers will be solid.

Looks great with the BFG KO's. I have them as well and love the way they handle and have almost no noise on the roads. Good looking truck, Bro!!!

I would be careful on the longer shocks. You may end up needing extended bump stops if you run lift shocks. I plan on running stock length shocks with Expo springs, extended shackles, and rear hangers moved forward 1-2 inches. I hope to get my rear suspension assembled tomorrow and get some better measurements, but then again I've been saying that for half a year now, so we'll see. Your truck does look good with the 31s.:icon_thumby:

Picked up the Chrome skinned steel 15" wheels this week from the bone yard for $40 a piece. Sold the Explorer wheels for $25 a piece. (Pic attached above)

Working on a Warn Trans4mer winch mount, hopefully by the end of the week.

how do you have the brushguard/ winch mounted? and how is the ride with the coil spacers?

The brushguard/winch mount includes four brackets. Two on top the bumper & two below. If you search google for "warn trans4mer ranger installation instructions" or you can go to:

[ Click Here ] & it will open a PDF with instructions.

Depending on what year Ranger you have it might be necessary to cut either the grille or part of the top brackets for proper fitment. Takes only a minute if you have a cutting wheel. If you come across one of these and it's missing the brackets call Warn to see if you can buy replacements for reasonable cost or move on..

The spacer lift rides fine, really not much of a difference.
