What should my procedure be for timing? I’ve got good spark50/50 test. If it wont start or try with ether or gas, then it's electrical. Check your spark. Check your timing.

To be honest I haven’t made it that far on my journey yet. I can read my chilton though. Thank youHonestly i don't think its timing, but iirc, pull the spout and put a timing light on it. Should be 10 degrees btdc.
With all the work you've done, maybe a connector didn't seat properly. I had that happen to me. Took 2 months off and on before i figured it out,
Any idea what the connector could be? Or just meaning in general? ThxHonestly i don't think its timing, but iirc, pull the spout and put a timing light on it. Should be 10 degrees btdc.

First connection id check is the TFI plug and harness....since that kinda dangles around the bellhousing area a bit.Any idea what the connector could be? Or just meaning in general? Thx

I suspect some of the wiring to the fuel pumps or the fuel pumps themselves have been damaged from the exhaust work. It should always prime when first turning the key. And giving it a shot in the intake proves it's not getting enough fuel.
I see you have a 88 so you might have only one pump in the tank. Some of the models had two pumps, one in the tank and one on the frame.
Good Evening y’all. I got her running!50/50 test. If it wont start or try with ether or gas, then it's electrical. Check your spark. Check your timing.
Well the relay worked for a few miles and stalled out lol. Investigated what was going on and could only assume it wasn’t grounding. Sure enough, relay didn’t have a good ground to the terminal. Put a new wire and needed a terminal anyway, she’s been great for 100 miles so far. Glad it was simpleGood Evening y’all. I got her running!
It was the EEC relay… not the FPR this time lol. I experimented jumping the different wires with a paper clip. The solid red and red with green stripe got her going. It ticked pretty loud for 3-4 mins but eventually came down. Probably just the lifters after cranking with no oil pressure. It still seems to be a bit more than I’m used to, even after idling for 20+ mins and a little drive. I may just be skeptical as it’s been a few weeks, it always had a faint tick. I am really wishing I pulled all the relays off my doner truck while I had it. I can’t find the right one online anywhere. When my FP relay went out I got lucky enough to get it at the junk yard. I doubt the truck still has any but I’m going to check tomorrow. I was able to find one on eBay for $25 so I’m pretty stoked.
Thanks again everyone for your help.
