False. If it's really that bad (and the oil pressure has to be absurdly low) then the computer knows (because the O2 sensor tells it) that there was less air in the mix than it expected, and it immediately reduces the fuel trim to bring it back into balance.Just the opposite. The computer doesn't know the valve isn't opening wide enough or long enough and pushes the original amount of fuel toward that cylinder anyway. Making the mixture slightly richer than normal rather than leaner.

The computer will maintain the correct fuel/air mix, regardless of what the lifters are doing. It won't run rich or lean, and it won't run hot.
The heat is coming from some other cause. I still suspect some kind of blockage in the coolant system.
