2.9 Rear Main Seal replacement?

How hard is it to replace the rear main seal on a 2.9? I am going to have my transmission out doing the manual transmission swap so I figured I would replace the rear main while I was in there.

Any advise would be great!

i've heard not to touch them unless they are leaking. mine was leaking when i replaced it, and after about 10k miles, it started leaking again. i replaced it again, and its still leaking.

Sometimes you need to "sleeve" the crankshaft, if it has developed a groove.

i will fix it when i swap in the 4.0
