2.9 issues, need to last the summer

alternator is fine, charges a 13.7 volts, a battery can effect any computer controlled vehicle if its not getting the voltage it wants, what turned me to the battery was when the fans would kick in is when it would start so what my guess is the plates were braking down inside, wasnt a good battery and was a few years old and went dead a couple times when the truck was sitting
