can anybody tell me the difference between the two, all i see is the secondary resistance, and which one would do me better, im not looking to build a race car i just want something better than stock. one recommends a harness?? what does that mean. the connector end looks like whats already on the truck. any help would be great, thanks.

If your stock coil is still working, I would just keep it.

You wont gain anything from a 'high output' coil.

I think the same, the stock ignition is fine. To answer your question about the wiring harness it is only if you use a full msd ignition with 6a or 6al box so it will work with a stock style coil and to make it easier to install the msd box in the factory wiring harness. The difference between the two coils is just that one is in a different line of msd products. The street fire coil is in a cheaper line more street oriented of msd and the blaster coil is the higher and more race oriented one of the two. The street fire coil is probably closer to the factory resistance. Your stock ignition system is great and will do the job just fine.

the street fire is a stock replacement coil no emission tag required. the Blaster comes with a Carb executive order tage taht goes with your emission plate for california emission. baster puts out more power the the street fire. i don't believe the street fire can handle the msd boxes where the blaster can.
