hey guys im looking for some me help ive never lowered a ranger before i have a 94 2.3l rangerxl my rear end sits very high...so im wondering if i do a 2/4 drop if my truck will sit level or will my front end be way up? or do you suggest doing a 2/3 drop... thanks

I would suggest a 3/4 drop either the right way with DJM lowered I-beams in the front or you can get shorter coils and get the 3.5* camber bushings..... the rear is easily done with a DJM flip kit for the rear axle

okay but i want to keep my i-beams stock um can you get 3" coils ?

yes, but that's going to be pushing being able to get the alignment right. Just get Drop beams!

ok dude like i dont want to spend alot of money what are drop beams im new to this bare with me lol and wats the price

what about get 2" lowering coils then a 3"flip kit ?

okay and yes im 18 paying for school and stuff so i can get 3 inch coils for the front with out getting different i beams ?

will my front end sit higher then my back if i do a 2/4 drop or am i safer to do a 2/3?

sorry bout all the questions what if i flipped my hangers to level my truck then did a 2/3 drop ? With 2 inch lowering coils then a 3 inch rear flip kit

If you do the flip kit in the rear AND the flipped hangers, you will drop the rear 6-7 inches!!! C-notch time!!!! My truck is an 87 and I did mine with 2" dropped coils and the flip kit in the rear, left the hangers in the stock location......... since yours is newer, you can get the 4* camber bushings (the max on mine is 2*)..... Lowering yours with coils and the flip kit, you should be able to get your alignment within specs...... I'm gonna do the dropped I-beams and flip the hangers this summer, along with a C-notch, so it won't ride like a haywagon on a dirt road!!!!!

right which will be way to low i want to get 2 inch lowering coils if i do a 4 inch flip in rear will my front be higher then the rear

O.K.....try this first...measure the height from the ground to thebottom of the back bumper & write it down...jack up the rear frame of the truck....put jack stands under the frame for safety......cut the rivets off the rear hangars....flip them up-side down....bolt them back to the frame using grade 8 bolts 3/8" diameter.

Set the truck on the ground.....re-measure the height from the ground to the bottom of the back bumper...tell us how much the bumper dropped.

There.....you just spent a total of about $10 dollars on bolts, nuts, washers!!

Now step away from the side of the truck about 20 feet & see how the truck looks to you.....then decide if the back is lowered enough...it
if it looks low enough to you, decide on how much you want to lower the front end.

Then we can discuss how to lower the front end (I forgot that your truck is a later model than mine and adjustable bushings might not work on your front end...)

does anyone know where i can get 2" lowering coils and a 4 inch flip for a 94 ranger reg cab
