2.3turbo engine install. Wiring Trouble. HELP! mechanic needed!!

I have a 89 ranger. i installed a turbo 2.3 out of an 87 thunderbird. I pulled engine, trans, computer(wiring harness, sensors). I repined the truck harness and added all tc wiring to sensors. It runs but VERY RICH and sounds out of time at idle. I have been working on it when i can for 7 months and im burned out.....
I live in southeastern ohio near athens. Anyone interested in working on my truck that has done the wiring before? Harness need worked from scratch. or any suggestions on what could be my issue. I love the idea of a turbo ranger but im about to give up and do the 302 thing. thx, guys

Ok one last shot. i just went to the junk yard and pulled a 90 2.3 engine harness from a ranger to use in my 89. I'm going to re-pin the wiring using the (1990 Ranger to 1988 Turbo Coupe Wiring Pinouts (Excel Spreadsheet) ) and we will see how this goes on round two. The only thing i see an issue with might be the TFI connector needing a re-pin and coil feed wire. (22k ohms res. on IDM pin 4 i have it?) and do i need to add the (DIODE) to ISC pin 21? i have it to!

damn!!! i re pined the harness got it put on. but no spark! i used the dis wiring off the t bird and pin it the the computer. ran the t bird pin 4 wire with resistor (DG/Y) to the coil, Dis, And tech feed. Does the coil need 12V to + and - sides? because thats what im getting.
