1999 XLT 3.0 - Shaking when in Park/Idle

Hello!


My truck has a shake to it when it's in park/idle. I don't feel the shaking at all when I'm moving. I checked the codes and had a P1401. I changed out the EGR pressure sensor- code has not came back, so that's nice BUT the shaking is still there.

It's not a terrible shake, but it's noticeable. How would I go about determining what the issue is? My first thought was maybe it's the motor mounts, but I have no clue how to actually verify/test that or if that's a DIY type of job.

motor mounts can be checked by looking and pushing thme with something strong enough to move the engine around.

the 3.0 has a very odd feeling idle though. my 3.0 feels like it has a really light shake at idle but i thinks its because of hte firing order. i don;t know why but it just doesn't idle as smooth as my other vehicles. its not bad, just feels weird

Thanks for letting me know! I thought I was going crazy cause now that I noticed the shaking, it's like the only thing I notice lol
