1999 Ranger 4.0 radiator swap

I have a 99 ranger with a 4.0, and I have a 96 explorer with a 5.0. The explorer radiator looks twice as big as my ranger's, thinking about getting a 5.0 explorer radiator to swap into my ranger, maybe have to change the fan too? Has anybody done this mod before?

That sounds like what they call the 4-core swap. I'm not sure what's involved but it has been done.
