1998 Ford Ranger Fuel Door

Is it possible to buy a new fuel door for the 1998 Ranger? I saw one other "fuel door rusted" post where the responder suggested going to the junk yard. All the on-line parts web site show a circular fuel door for the 1998 Ranger. The fuel door on my 1998 Ranger is rectangular 6 1/8 x 5 1/2. I'd rather not go to the junk yard to find one if possible.

Well the dealer should be able to get one. It might be more than you want to pay, but they should be able to get one.

My '98'is the rectangular one, think even my old '87' was. You talking about the access door or the fuel cap itself?

Man, if we could get the oval door I would buy one in a heart beat!!! I have seen the oval ones on the prerunner rear fenders that bolt right on, But not
for our stock bedsides....wahhhhhhhhh.
