On going problem. This truck has destroyed 3 ignition coils. Middle coil for cylinder 2&6. Blows the interior 25amp fuse. Put a coil on it, seems to run for a short period, then runs rough, drops power then shortly after blows the 25 amp interior fuse. Before I put this last on on I changed plugs and wires. Blew 2 different ignition coils before I changed plugs and wires.
I’m at a loss what is causing the short or resistance. It’s been always the middle coil gets destroyed. I have ohmed them before and after.
For the plug in, the red/light green puts power to it. I’m assuming the yellow/red is coil 3/4 cylinders, yellow/white 2/6 cylinders, yellow/brown (or black) is coil for cylinders 1/5. Where does wire yellow/white go? I’m beginning to think I have a short in that.
Thanks for any help
