I bought a whole new ac compressor and it’s not working my old one wasn’t working either, when you press the ac button the compressor doesn’t engage and spin like it’s suppose to and I have no clue what to do with it

Check fuses. Then you need to find out if there is enough refrigerant in the system. There is a low pressure switch that is looking for a minimum amount of refrigerant pressure. There is also a high pressure switch that shuts off the compressor if the pressure gets too high from overfilling or a blockage in the system.

I refilled my refrigerator no leaked fuse is good I’m gonna look at the switch you said

1994 AC system wiring below

Here is the 12volt path

#17 fuse in cab fuse box to Climate control
Climate control to Pressure switch(es)
Pressure switches to WOT relay
WOT relay to Compressor clutch

So get your volt meter out and test if you have 12volts AT fuse 17 with key on
Then test if you have 12v at the pressure switch with Key on and AC on

Pressure switches are closed when pressure is OK, so the 12v from climate control switch passes thru each switch as it travels to the WOT relay, so test that the 12v goes in and then OUT of the switch, and to next switch if there are 2
Switches can be changed without losing pressure in the system

WOT(wide open throttle) relay is ONLY used when engine is running and you Floor it, it would turn OFF the AC to give you full engine power for passing or ???, so this 5 pin relay is OFF most of the time
But can still fail and cause no 12v to compressor clutch, if it internal contacts fail
