Your still independant, I found a pair from a TRS member I'm getting, should be good for my setup...

:icon_thumby: Can't wait to see what you cook up with this build.

It's getting close to being a build thread started, I just made a deal to get the engine and trans for the project. Coincidentally, its the same motor and trans that was originally with the cab. Only thing I need now is a rear axle, hood, grille, header panel and lights...

Finished cutting all of the pieces out of cardboard that I need for my canned ham bracket today. I need to use the plasma cutter at work to cut out the pieces.

I tried to make one too, and it didn't turn out well. So I need to make another one

Lol yea, it's taking a lot of measuring and :icon_welder: I'm copying the OE aluminum bracket almost to a 'T'. The only thing that's different is the bolt pattern for the pump to bolt to.

What are you going yo do with the old pump and bracket?

No idea. I have a bracket off of a 97 and I'm sure the bracket off of my '93 will be the heavier duty one. Probably sell them. Why, you interested?

I know Gen II Rangers had the HD full circle bracket, is your 93 bracket that way? My buddy may be interested in it for a Saginaw swap on his B2.

I'll have to check tonight when I get home. I didn't like the thought of grinding the hell out of that aluminum bracket. I don't want it to fail on me. That's why I'm making a new one out of steel.

I agree. Unless you have the TBird style resi the 4.0 brackets wont work.

Yea, TnT's truck is running a modified aluminum 4.0 Bracket with a canned ham style reservoir and it's working but he said it does look "hack"

Yeah. The 4.0 that I bought came complete, except for the PS pump and bracket.

You can have the one off of the '97. $20 it's yours.

I finished my saginaw bracket tonight. Worked beautifully as far as it bolting on lol. I'll get the pump on tomorrow and shim it to it's proper place. I'll be re-using the OE ford pulley that came with the pump coupled with a proper length Goodyear Gartorback serpentine belt so I don't have to resize the hole in the ranger pulley. I found a website with part numbers and lengths so all I have to do is measure for the proper belt and be set.
