1993 Splash build

awesome ps mount!!! i need ta figure out a mount for my 347 i have the pump

Thanks bro!! I finished up the conversion here a couple minutes ago. Man, what a DIFFERENCE! It's going to take awhile getting used to how quiet it is.... :icon_rofl:

As you can see, I had to get creative with the hoses. The pressure line is off of a 94 E-250 with a 5.8L. I used the OE Ranger return hose coming from the cooler.

Looks good, but while you were fabbing the bracket, did you think to raise the pump for more clearance/room?

SVT

It's raised around 3/4". There's still plenty of room in there. What would be the point of raising it any higher? (Curiosity is getting the better of me here)

looks good. I agree with SVT though, would have been wise to raise the pump...just looks cluttered around those lines, would make it less hassle I would think.

The tighter the lines have to bend, the more restriction the pressure will have. The bigger tires and terrain we travel puts enough strain on the pumps as it is. Raising the pump would put less of a bind on the lines. Going hydroboost would solve that problem though. Hint, hint...

Looks like room for a compressor to me....

This is why I didn't raise it any more than 3/4". Next mod would be a York compressor.

The lines are actually farely loose and straight. Only one that's slightly twisted is the Pressure hose. The other ones run straight to the cooler and straight back.

Nice job!! Can u tell a big differnce in the steering power?

There is a MASSIVE difference in steering power. I absolutely love it. Most responsive steering I've ever had.

Yes, It's got all the modifications other than modifying the tension spring.

Got my refund yesterday. As soon as Tuesday rolls around, I will be going down to Apple Hill 4x4 ( I WAS going to order from DavesOffroadSupply ) but Apple Hill 4x4 is only 10 minutes away from me and they price matched him so I ordered them through there instead.

I will be purchasing a Yukon Grizzly locker, Yukon 4.56's, and Yukon master install kit.
