1993 Splash build

I got my 60 arms for less than $100 brand new. I have an 77.5 8 lug 44 that has HD knuckles, I might swap em out for the 79 f150 knuckles I have...

Plans for this after the SAS project. Will probably go with Sch. 40 just because it's cheaper than DOM or HREW

I wouldn't skimp on cage material, that's a safety aspect. I would also make some fender tubes to attach to the front bumper to stiffen up the cage...

Yea I just got done reading a bunch of HREW vs DOM vs SCH40 vs ERW threads and I think I'll go with DOM now haha.

At the very minimum I'd do HREW, but DOM is best...

Received my plans today.

Called my local supplier up. $135 to cut the tubing to exact measurements or $85 for 21 feet uncut. I think I'll save myself the $50 and cut it myself.

Yeah, I would too. Are you going to use the air over hydraulic cylinder, or get a 120v hydraulic pump and cylinder? I personally suggest the latter...

I'm starting off with the air/hydro harbor freight one. It's worked well for others, plus it's cheaper, and I'm a patient man.
