Hi my name is Thomas and I am a member tattooedthomas117 and I have a question that I can't quite find the answer to. I currently own an immaculate 1992 ford ranger xlt 2wd extra cab and I own two 1997 awd 5.0 explorers one is perfect and is my wife's car and the other I bought as a doner car it's a bit of a basket case but it runs amazing, my question is can someone point me to a build thread or exact information I need to accomplish what I am trying to do. I am planning on using a 2wd 4R70W transmission I do not need awd nor 4wd and I am going to be using the rear end out of the explorer. Just info in the right direction would be nice or a link to a similar build thread would be awesome because the only response I've gotten is read read read read and I have and I've searched and I still can't find quite what I'm looking for and I am extremely serious about doing the swap I just like to study up before so so please any info such as personal experience or like I mentioned earlier as similar build thread would be awesome.
