Truck got some use this weekend and did very well IMO.

I went on a 2 hour road trip and took it crawling all night saturday night. Than yesterday I drove home and took it to the sand pit down the road by my house to give it a "dezert test" or at least as close as I could get.

The rear is packing a bit but otherwide the suspentions feels very good. The only truck makes alot of jittery noises but I dont think I will be able to get rid of that...

Check out the pics and vids and let me know what you think!

I think you need to come out and play in a real desert. :D

Dialing in those shocks no doubt will come with some trial & error.
Looks like you're off on the right track though. :icon_thumby:

Unfortunately I don't have a real dezert by me... but I did tune the shocks a little better yesterday. Tye front feels good. Its just the rear that I feel is packing. As of now I have the rebound tubes in complete bypass.... these whoops im hitting are pretty steep tho so I don't know how much to expect without doing links in the rear...

I was being facetious lol (come on out here to California :) )

I've seen good speed over whoops by leaf-sprung trucks. Just gotta keep playing with the shock tuning. If it's packing, my own still fairly-limited experience tells me you probably got too much rebound damping and/or maybe not enough compression damping.

Im guna run it like this this weekend. After that ill look into a revalve. I have my rebound tube all the way open on the rear bypass. So I think I need to have even less rebound. (So the tires drop out faster) Now I have to learn how to revalve these things...

I went out to show the jeep guys that my TTB can drive anywhere they can.

Am I nuts for wanting more!?

I'm about to tear the truck down again for a full rebuild with V8 5.0, 4 linked 9" rear, D44 TTB, and bypasses on all corners.

I'm addicted...
