I was working on putting in a new stereo and when I was done my dash lights don't work at all. But I don't think it's the switch because my headlights work. I mean all the other lights work like the brake light rear anti-lock and when my high beam indicator. Just the lights around the gauges and my light by the heater and a/c any thoughts on the problem?

If they worked before, and then you installed a stereo, and then they didn't work, then something you did while installing the stereo caused your problem.
Go back and figure out what you did to which wires, and what should have happened, and you should be able to find and fix the problem.

The instrument lights work on the same circuit as the radio illum light (so you either grounded it and took out the fuse or something else.
A good rule to remember is that if you fix something and something else stops, you broke it. So go back and do it over!!!
