Well my B2 had the radio go out, no power to it at all including clock (aftermarket Pioneer been in for years). The next morning I noticed my wipers weren't working either... But from what I can tell they are on a separate fuse and both seem okay.

Any idea where I should start? Everything else seems to be working.

Thanks guys

Start checking the wiring...

Check the steering column wiring. When my wipers would only run on high two mechanics said it was the wiper governor. When I took the column trim apart I found a short in the harness, taped it up and it works normally now. My guess is that over the years the column had been worked and the wiring was incorrectly routed and just jammed in there.

I hate wiring!!!! :(

Me too!

I told the wife I wanted a BII that didn't leak and didn't have electrical problems.

Right after I paid for it, it wouldn't start and the brake lights stopped working. First big rain, water in both front footwells!

I wanted to just light it on fire. But the wife kept me in the game and I finally got through both issues. Actually had a mechanic look at both issues but I ended up finding and fixing both of them.

Check the ignition switch in the column

You nailed it on the head, it must be the ignition switch...

I fiddled with it a little bit and wiggled it back and forth and sure enough both wipers and radio started to work...

Now is there a simple fix as in do I just tighten some wires or something or do I need to install a whole new ignition switch?
