Getting ready to replace factory speakers. One on drivers door was shot due to water damage. Bottom of the door is rusted through. Any advice on how to seal this so I do not get another dead speaker. I have little mechanical skill. I was considering some of that expanding foam you can buy in a can? Does that at all sound reasonable?

the most likely reason for your problem is the window seal, that's about the only way water is going to get on the speaker unless the truck was submerged... LMC has the window seal kits for like $75, mine are all rotted too, I need to get on that one of these days

Speaker Baffles...awesome idea. Did not even know they made them.
