Hello everyone, I recently replaced my fuel pressure regulator, I bought fuel disconnect tools and used the small key to then use it on the 2 holes on the side of the connection. When I went to use the key I noticed the small holes were not as small as they should’ve been, it looked like the previous owner may have had issues with it disconnecting. I didn’t really think much of it, I installed the part and connected the fuel line and when I went to start my truck, it was leaking at the connection. I disconnected the regulator and tried again but the regulator did not click, it wouldn’t connect.
The connection piece is broken and I need to replace it but ford no longer makes OEM parts and all I need is the connection. My thinking is just to replace the return fuel line but in I’m not sure what to look for. I just found out about the forum today and figure I would try and get help. Any help is appreciated thank you.
