1989 Tailgate bushings

Anyone know where i might find some replacement tailgate bushings for my 1989 ranger? Ive ordered a couple different sets that were advertised to fit the old rangers, but they are all smaller diameter bushings than what my truck takes.

I don’t know if they’re the same as the B2, but I crawl rocks with mine and it kept blowing the plastic ones up.

The local “real” hardware store had bronze bushings, I put those in there three years ago……..still intact.

Just a thought.

for anyone else who needs one, I did order the bushing from LMC and it is a perfect fit.

my truck has seen a lot of salty roads, and there was enough surface rust build up on the sliding surfaces that it ended up tearing the bushing apart.

I clean the rust out and put some grease mixed with used oil in there to keep rust at bay so it doesn’t tear things up so bad
