INFO 1986 ranger 2.9

I have a 1986 ford ranger with a 2.9 5 speed 4x4 that hesitates while idling it will idle fine that almost stall out. When I drive it it hesitates and jerks. I have replaced every sensor and fuel injectors on the truck. My scanner says I have a code p1035

An '86 is OBDI, not OBDII, and it'll have 3-digit codes, not 4-digit.

Can you get an OBDI code reader to put on it?

I haven’t looked really that hard for one I bought an adapter from obd2 to obd1 I’ll see if I can find one

An 86 2.9 will throw a 2 digit code.

Well I scanned my truck code 18 67 63 and 22

If you're changing the distributor pick up, you may want to replace the module also if you do get the Motocraft one Rock Auto has them the cheapest DY1284 and there $63.79 which is about half of what everyone else wants.
